It's the season of giving!

Our annual 12 Days of Christmas is starting this Monday, December 6th, and lasting through December 21st, we have some AMAZING prizes for you to win! Check back on our Facebook page every weekday between the 6th and the 21st to see how to win!



By entering this contest, you agree that you have read, understand and will comply with these official rules. No purchase is necessary to enter or to win. Purchase does not improve one’s chances of winning. Contest period begins Monday, December 6, 2021 and continues with multiple giveaways until Tuesday, December 21, 2021.  The actual dates of giveaways are December 6, 7, 8,9,10,13,14,15,16,17,20, and 21.

Those who wish to enter any of the 12 days of giveaways must be a legal resident of the United States, must be at least 18 years old, and must have a valid SSN or TIN. Residents of Florida, New York and Rhode Island are not eligible to enter this contest. The contest is not exclusive to Summit Federal Credit Union members and any resident of eligible states in the United States can enter. Corporate staff employees of Summit Federal Credit Union, volunteers, their immediate families, retailers, affiliates, licenses, advertising and promotion agencies, wholesalers, printers and other vendors are not eligible to enter the contest. The contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Information about entrants will not be shared with third parties. Void where prohibited or restricted.

To enter the contest, you must: Leave a comment on the photograph Facebook post of the giveaway item you would like to be entered in for a chance to win. The giveaway post for each day will provide a question or prompt to guide the topic of the comment section. Participants are limited to one entry to win per day. Mass entries and reproduction of sweepstakes entries will not be accepted. All entries must be completed by 4:00pm of the day of the giveaway. Summit Federal Credit Union is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete or illegible entries or mail.


The winner for each holiday giveaway will be randomly selected from the list of all entrants by 5 p.m., ET, on the day following the giveaway. The drawing will be conducted under the direction of Summit Federal Credit Union, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating the contest. Actual odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received. A total of 12 prizes will be awarded over the course of the contest. All prizes will be awarded. Each winner will be awarded one prize per day. Participants are limited to two (2) wins through the duration of the contest.  The following list outlines the contest prizes and their approximate retail value:


- Day 1 – Candles and infuser - $25 value

- Day 2 – 1 qty $25 Panera gift card - $25 value

- Day 3 – 1 qty. $25 Kohl’s gift card - $25 value

- Day 4 – 1 qty. Charcuterie Board w/ fillers - $30 value

- Day 5 – 1 qty. $50 Lowes gift card - $50 value

- Day 6 – 1 qty. $25 Combination Restaurant gift card - $25 value

- Day 7 – 1 qty.  GetGo gas card - $40 value

- Day 8 – 1 qty. Amazon gift card - $25 value

- Day 9 – 1 qty. Magic Bullet Compact Blender - $30 value

- Day 10 – Variety of family games and puzzles - $25 value

- Day 11 – New plate/dinner sets - $50 value

- Day 12 – $50 TopGolf gift card and $50 Gervasi Vineyard gift card - $100 total value

Prizes may not be substituted for cash under any circumstances.


All winners of each contest will be selected in a random drawing and will be announced through a post on the Summit Federal Credit Union Facebook page on the next business day following each giveaway. The post will instruct winners how to claim their prize. Claim must be completed within 24 hours of announcement of winner in order for the winners to officially claim their prizes. All prizes for each Facebook contest must be picked up at one of two Summit Federal Credit Union Branches (Akron Branch – 100 Wheeler Street, Akron, OH 44311, Salem Branch – 1070 E. State St., Suite C, Salem, OH 44460) by the end of business on January 7, 2022. In order to officially receive a prize, winners must provide Summit Federal Credit Union a valid SSN or TIN for tax purposes, address and date of birth. By entering and/or accepting the prize, you are confirming that you comply with the rules of eligibility and the liability and publicity terms enumerated herein. In the event of non-compliance of these Official Rules and Regulations, or if the prize is unclaimed, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner determined by Summit Federal Credit Union.  A written request for a list of winners must be sent to Summit Federal Credit Union, 100 Wheeler Street, Akron, OH 44311 by January 14, 2022.  List of winners will be available by January 28, 2022 at the Akron Branch of Summit Federal Credit Union (100 Wheeler St., Akron, OH 44311).  Summit Federal Credit Union reserves the right to use the name of all winners and prizes won for publicity purposes. Summit Federal Credit Union requires all winners to sign an affidavit.


Summit Federal Credit Union, its officers, directors, employees, attorneys and/or any other affiliated parties (collectively “Parties”) are not responsible for any damages, loss or liability with respect to the use of the prizes awarded in the contest, or any incomplete, lost, late or damaged postal mail, or any licensing and other fees on prizes. Contestants release all Parties from any of the above-mentioned liabilities. These Official Rules and Regulations shall be interpreted by and governed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio. Void where prohibited, taxed or restricted. 

By participating in the sweepstakes, participants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless sponsor, its respective partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and other individuals engaged in the development or execution of this sweepstakes, from any liability, claims, losses, and damages arising out of or relating to their participation in this sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize received in this sweepstakes.
